8 episodes from one of television's funniest sketch comedy series proves that Comedy Central may have finally found their successor to Chappelle's Show.

If you’re not easily offended and looking for some great laughs then you’ll want to pick up a copy Key & Peele: Season One on Blu-ray today. While the eight episodes breeze by all too quickly, you’ll be holding your sides as they hurt from laughing at their unique spin on the absurdity of everything. There's few - if any - sacred cows here. The show looks better than ever in high-definition, and luckily, the second season has just started airing on Comedy Central, which after ten long years seems to have finally found a worthy successor to the infamous Chapelle's Show. And that’s saying a lot right there.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele bring their hilarious talents first seen on MADtv to their own sketch comedy series, Key and Peele. With plenty of funny skits and the two comedians performing their special brand of humor in between them, Comedy Central has finally found a worthy successor to Chappelle's Show, which is about the highest praise you can give a sketch series.

I’ve always been a big fan of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele since their run on Fox's classic MADtv comedy skit show, nearly dying laughing on more than one occasion when they used to do their 70’s Blaxploitation parody skits of Dr. Funkenstein and his monster. Now they bring some of the same great comedy to Comedy Central and on this uncensored Blu-ray with Key &  Peele: Season One.

In the eight half-hour episodes featured here, the two comedians poke at all sorts of zany things, skewering them in the process. From Jordan’s spot-on Obama impersonation and Keegan-Michael playing his secret service agent Luther that expresses Barack’s anger in a ghetto fashion, to playing two guys reporting from a traffic helicopter in which one has massive panic attacks every time it makes a turn, these guys will have viewers cracking up with some amazing sketch comedy. The two also host the show and provide some live humor between sketches, such as poking at both of their mixed race heritage and the things they dealt with because of it, to how Keegan-Michael can’t sit still when he laughs. I always had a blast with the guys revealing all of these fun, personal facts between skits, and enjoyed how it feels like they’re just two of your friends talking about stuff and making fun of it.

Seeing and hearing the show on Blu-ray makes it even better, as the 1080p picture comes in nice and clean here. The 5.1 DTS-HD sound is just as impressive as the visuals, making sure every hilarious line is heard loud and clear. Rounding things out are a few special features presented here that’s sure to bring viewers even more laughs. There’s audio commentaries provided on some of the episodes, some funny outtakes, a poolside interview where the guys talk a little about the show, and even some backstage footage of the two when they were at the South Beach Comedy Festival last year.
