Majesco's popular Cooking Mama franchise is stronger than ever, as the wholesome franchise sells 4 million units in North America.

Love or hate her (its probably love), the gaming's world most domestically adept matron known as [insert role] Mama can now claim to have entertained millions in North America, as Majesco's popular franchise has sold an astounding 4 million units across platforms and individual titles. Since first launching on the Nintendo DS the Japanese-centered Mama has become the most successful female-led franchise in the gaming industry, despite appearing fully clothed, appropriately bosomed, and more apt to teach skills than kills.

The Mama franchise has become so popular and vital that its development team, the former Office Create, changed their name to Cooking Mama Limited just to keep up pace. She's also helped lift publisher Majesco past a global recession which has threatened the careers of many in the gaming industry, saving the company from certain doom after years of declining sales and lackluster sales. The Cooking Mama franchise has since become their most popular franchise, expanding beyond its Nintendo-branded platforms and (most recently) into the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch arena.

So wholesome even a misdirected PETA campaign couldn't slow her down, Mama has since recently branched off into a successful Gardening career and all signs point to a long and healthy career.
